Join El Pinoy Care Services as our Rostering & Recruitment Officer, where you'll play a vital role in supporting aged care and disability clients while ensuring we have the right team in place to provide exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
Roster Management: Create, update, and maintain schedules for clients and support workers, ensuring efficient coverage. Strong organizational skills and leadership qualities are essential, as this role requires assertiveness, professionalism, and kindness when dealing with support workers, clients, and contractors.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Proactively screen and onboard candidates to fill potential gaps in client rosters, ensuring continuity of service and preventing disruptions. Stay ahead of staffing needs to maintain smooth operations.
Liaison: Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure seamless coordination of services.
Problem-Solving: Address scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes with a proactive approach.
Administrative Support: Assist with documentation, data entry, and compliance reporting.
Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for clients and support workers, addressing inquiries and providing solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with CMS software such as VisualCare, Brevity, or ShiftCare is preferred.
Project management experience is a huge plus, as we are upgrading to a new CMS. The Rostering & Recruitment Officer will play a key role in this transition, with training provided. We need someone who can adapt to change, take ownership of the project, and collaborate with the Divisional Lead in Disability and Aged Care and the senior management team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle rostering complexities effectively.
Leadership qualities, particularly assertiveness with kindness, when managing schedules and resolving conflicts.
Excellent communication skills – fluency in English is essential, and additional languages are a plus.
Experience in recruitment, rostering, or administration (experience in aged care or disability services is a plus).
Ability to identify and recruit staff ahead of time to ensure service continuity and prevent staffing shortages.
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
